Common Name: autunite
Mineral: calcium uranyl phosphate, also called calco-uranite
Autunite contains up to 48.27% naturally occurring uranium.
One permanently sealed vial containing a minimum of five grams of autunite crystals. The specimen is devoid of any surplus matrix, ensuring a minimum activity of at least 350 Bq and 2.4 grams of natural uranium. The vial is accompanied by a 405nm UV light source and is carefully packaged in a metal tin lined with 1/16″ thick lead. Both the vial and the light source are enclosed within memory foam for added protection.
Shipped via USPS First Class wrapped in polyethylene and bubble wrap, lead, and or aluminum foil. to bring the parcel surface activity well below the 0.5mR/hr shipping limit.
