Radioactive Rocks and Historical Artifacts: Our products are Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM or Radioactive Rocks) and radioactive vintage historical artifacts. These items may emit low levels of radiation. By purchasing from us via any platform, you acknowledge that you are aware of the nature of these products.

Legal Compliance: It is your responsibility to ensure that the purchase and possession of the aforementioned radioactive materials are legal in your jurisdiction. We are not liable for any legal issues arising from the purchase of our products.

Shipping Method: We only ship via USPS Parcel Select Ground due to the nature of our products being considered hazardous material. A delivery confirmation signature may be required in certain cases to ensure safe delivery.

Shipping Restrictions: We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally. No Class 7 radioactive specimen, sample, or item containing any uranium or thorium will ever be shipped out of the United States. Currently, the website only accepts orders coast to coast and to Alaska. Our shipments will comply with federal regulations.

Delivery Time: Since our shipments must travel via ground transportation, please allow up to 5 days for your order to arrive. Delivery times may vary based on your location and the season. Shipments during the holiday season can take more time to be delivered.

Shipping Costs: We charge a flat rate of $5.75 per order, regardless of the size, weight, and number of packages in your order.

Returns Accepted Within 90 Days: We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you need to return your order, we gladly accept returns within 90 days of the delivery date. To initiate a return, simply contact us at GeigerCheck@outlook.com, and we will guide you through the process. Please ensure that the item is in its original condition and packaging. Once we receive the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange promptly.

Return Shipping Compliance: Any item originating from this company may be returned for safety or disposal purposes at no cost to us if the current owner wishes to relinquish it. However, all returns must comply with NRC and shipper guidelines regarding legality, code, policy, and safety. If a properly shielded and labeled container is required, this company will provide it at cost, including shipping fees and a handling and packaging charge without profit.

Damaged or Defective Items: If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We may ask for photographic evidence and will provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Safety: Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Labeling: Always label specimens or provide signage to prevent accidental exposure.

Cleanup: Thoroughly clean any spills, breakage, or accidental distribution of materials. Use methods like ultraviolet black-light, magnification, and/or a radiation meter to ensure all particles are detected and removed. Adhesive tape or similar tools can help with cleanup. Dampening the area with a spray of water before cleanup can help prevent spilled particles from becoming airborne.

Disposal: For disposal, please refer to the disposal policy of your local waste management company regarding NORM, as regulations may vary from state to state. Alternatively, you can contact us to discuss sending back any previously purchased item.

Emergency: In case of human swallowing or inhalation of solid particles of material that are radioactive, call 911 immediately and have the material as well as its specific, identifying names or descriptions on hand.

Pet Ingestion: In case of pet ingestion, immediately take the pet to emergency care. If emergency care is unavailable, contact emergency veterinarians for advice by phone or live chat. If unavailable, in cases of heavy metals such as uranium or thorium, consider orally administering teaspoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide, swallowed to induce vomiting until the material has likely been successfully regurgitated. Re-hydrate the animal and seek veterinarian assistance ASAP. Uranium ore and thorium ore may dissolve in stomach acid and become invisible, so there may or may not be any material to visibly confirm in the regurgitate.

Compliance: By purchasing from GeigerCheck, you agree never to concentrate or refine any form of radioactive substance and to comply with all local and federal laws, including those outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Before purchasing, you must familiarize yourself with any applicable safety protocols relevant to the item(s).

Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability: By purchasing from GeigerCheck or its owner through any means, you assume all risks associated with the use, handling, and storage of radioactive materials. GeigerCheck will not be liable for any damages, including personal injury, property damage, or legal issues arising from the purchase or use of our products.

Buyer’s Warranty and Responsibility: The buyer warrants they will use the items in compliance with all applicable laws and will thoroughly inform themselves of all safety requirements before purchasing. The buyer understands that the owners of GeigerCheck.com will not be held responsible for consequences arising from misuse, negligence, or accidents.
